Dustin Pattison, President
Dustin graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in Music Business. He was the founder and director of Catacombs, an art café in Chico that held concerts for local and national bands and hosted discussion groups on religion, politics and issues of social justice. After an extended trip to Malawi, Africa in 2003, Dustin now focuses his time and energies on strategies to help African communities successfully respond to the HIV/AIDS crisis. Dustin is an accomplished songwriter and currently lives in Portland, Oregon. |

Cara Pattison, Vice President
Cara graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in Communication Design. After traveling and volunteering in Africa, including in Malawi, Burkina Faso, and Cote D'Ivoire, Cara has developed a deep passion for the people there. Besides her work with Bola Moyo, Cara works as a freelance graphic designer with clients including Prophetik, CSU, Chico, WEDO, and UNICEF. Cara enjoys writing and volunteering her time with debt relief organizations, such as Jubilee. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon. |

Jerry Stayton, Treasurer
Jerry has a degree in accounting from Ohio State University, an MBA in finance from Golden Gate University, and over 45 years of accounting experience, much of which includes non-profit organizations. In his late fifties, Jerry and his wife Peg served for two years as associate missionaries in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Before this, Jerry held the position of Vice President of Business & Finance at Simpson University in Redding, California. Jerry is finally ready to retire from his position with the Christian and Missionary Alliance district office and is excited about what lies ahead. |

Michael Hayes, Secretary
Michael is a self-employed graphic designer in Chico, California. He has a degree in Computer Science, and experience both in working in design firms in the Bay Area and running his own small business. Michael is an excellent communicator and visionary, and whether he likes it or not, a great administrator as well. Michael enjoys spending his free time with his wife Kim, and visiting cities purely to find the best latte. Next he's on the search for a good Malawian cup of joe. |

Katharine Pattison
Katharine graduated with a degree in Communication Design from CSU, Chico. There she worked for three years as Assistant to the Coordinator for Student Judicial Affairs, and then as an After-School Consultant for the Newton Learning Corporation. She was the operations manager for Grilla Bites Restaurants for one year and in October 2005 became a partner with Starbucks Coffee Company. Katie lives in Portland, Oregon, and enjoys exploring the parks, cooking, and her family. |

John Pattison
John has worked as a research analyst and grant-writer for Educational Resource Consultants in Fresno, California, writing successful proposals for colleges and school districts throughout California's impoverished San Joaquin Valley. He now lives in Portland, and spends his time writing and attending classes at PCC and PSU. His articles and essays have appeared in newspapers in Oregon, Nebraska and California, as well as on national websites. |

Matt Westbrook
Matt currently works in Pasadena, California, as Program Manager for the Center for Youth and Family Ministry at Fuller Seminary. He has a degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Management emphasis) from CSU, Humboldt, a Master's Degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary, and in August of 2005, will be pursuing a PhD at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. |
